Okay, so Nintendo just dropped this trailer, right? Eight minutes of Donkey Kong chaos. It’s called Donkey Kong Bananza, and it’s dropping solely on the Nintendo Switch 2 this month. Not gonna lie, I’m kinda excited. Why? No clue. Maybe ’cause Donkey Kong just screams nostalgia, and I’m all here for it.
You’ve got Donkey Kong and Pauline darting through underground worlds. Sounds typical, but here’s the kicker: they’re racing against this shady gang, VoidCo, to snag Golden Bananas. Why bananas? Who knows, but it’s DK, so duh.
Anyway, they’re promising a crazy ride — full of mayhem and I guess, more bananas? You can crash into things, bash them, and pretty much tear the world apart. Donkey Kong is like that friend who’s too strong for their own good. You tear chunks off the ground and swing like a maniac. Honest chaos.
And get this, the more you destroy, the more places you discover. Secrets just pop out like confetti. It’s like a reward for being a complete wrecking ball. I kinda love it.
So, circling back, this darn game is hitting stores, both in person and online (because who goes to stores anymore?), on July 17, 2025. Worldwide, folks. Mark your calendars or don’t, I mean, whatever floats your boat.
