Sure thing, here we go:

Okay, so here’s the thing. Xbox Retro Classics, right? They’re, like, making a mega move. I mean, more than 100 games are coming in 2025. I’m not kidding. This thing launched back in May, and already had 50—no wait, over 50—classic Activision games. Sweet nostalgia, am I right? Now they’re throwing in achievements and challenge modes too. More reasons to flex your gaming muscles.
Oh! The new set of games is practically going to triple the selection. Triple. Imagine that! The Antstream Arcade folks are behind this. And they have, like, a cloud gaming platform with over 1,300 retro games. It’s like a gaming time machine. PlayStation’s getting in on it too—PS5 included. Big deal, if you ask me.
Wait, did I mention there are about 120 more classic games in the pipeline? The Antstream peeps didn’t spill the beans on which ones. It’s all hush-hush. But, they did say something about new tournaments and challenges. Maybe we’ll see some Disney stuff or some other collabs? Or maybe not. I’m bad at predicting these things.
Here’s a kicker though—Xbox Game Pass might get pricier. Shock, horror, I know. Games are already getting pricier, so it kinda makes sense. But it’s still a bummer. As for when all these games will drop, nobody knows yet. It’s all up in the air. But hey, there’s still some cool retro remakes coming—Legend of Mana, anyone? Tony Hawk—yep, 3 + 4 remake. So there’s stuff to keep us entertained in the meantime.
Anyway, Microsoft’s got it locked down. Founded in ‘75, based in Redmond (fun fact), and they own everything from Activision Blizzard to Xbox Game Studios. Quite the empire, right?
Honestly, I’m just psyched to see what’s next. Why? Who knows. There’s just something about retro games that hits different.
