Okay, wow, so SEGA just dropped this nugget: there’s a free demo for their new 2D action thingy β Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. If you’ve got a Nintendo Switch, hit up the Nintendo eShop. Honestly, who saw that coming?
So, it starts in Oboro Village. That’s stage one. You’ll be brawling with enemies like itβs nobody’s business. Also, there’s this whole platform obstacle jazz. There’s an Arcade Mode, too, where you can go nuts trying to get some top score. And here’s the kicker β you unlock some gameplay stuff earlier than you should. I mean, talk about throwing you a bone.
Right, so this world is all artsy-fartsy. Lizardcube helped out. Joe Musashi, our ninja dude, comes home, everything’s on fire, his people are… rock statues? Yeah, talk about a bad day. So, of course, he’s all about the revenge now. Classic.
Anyway, he’s off to fight some crazy big bosses in these hand-drawn worlds. Apparently, you can find paths and stuff, like hidden treasures if thatβs your thing.
Oh, yeah, SEGA threw in some buzz about the gameβs hot features:
– Traipsing through these cool stagesβmilitary bases, deserts, you get it. Platforming puzzles because why not?
– Got your ninja gearβKatana Oborozuki, Kunai, all that jazz. Slice and dice, right?
– You can become a super ninja. Combos galore. Amulets, Ningi tools, whatever those areβenhance your hero swag.
Mark those calendars, folks. August 29, 2025. Digital release on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo Switch is your jam!
And oh, there’s a trailer somewhere and probably some screenshots. Somebody cue the popcorn. π¬
