Seemingly content to spill all the beans before the big show—Gamescom 2025, here we come—the folks over at inZOI (never really got what that stands for) are at it again. Just like a week ago, they dropped info on their first-ever DLC pack, and now? Boom. Another announcement. Not even sure why, but hey, it’s happening.
Krafton and the life sim crew just casually mentioned—no drumrolls or anything—that the game’s hopping over to PlayStation 5. Yup, PS5, the shiny console everyone’s raving about. I mean, wasn’t there supposed to be a surprise? Like, maybe? Anyway, their big PS5 news was kind of a “hey, by the way, we’re doing it” kind of thing.
No release date yet—classic move—but they’re eyeing the first half of 2026. Seems like ages away, doesn’t it? They’re promising the same vibe on PS5, just “optimised for console” or whatever. Controls are a biggie, apparently. They’ve got to tweak those for the controller. I’m guessing the struggle is real.
And then there’s the whole game performance jazz. Or so they say. But, looking good, right? Check out that image, dreamy, huh? Oh wait, where was I? Right, early access and all that. It’s on Steam Early Access currently, no big news if PS5 will start the same way. I’ve heard it’s not common for PlayStation to go Early Access. Could be wrong.
On a side note, did you hear it’s also hitting Mac OS on August 20? It’s all happening around the Island Getaway DLC drop. Talk about timing. If you’re the kind curious enough to dig for cheats (no judging here), there’s a whole list ready for you. Go, take a look.
