Oh man, so here’s the deal. You know how summer blockbusters are like these huge, can’t-miss-the-trailer type of events? Well, I wandered into this whole new thing where Marvel is crashing headlong into, wait for it, Monopoly Go! Seriously, they’re teaming up with Scopely to sprinkle the magic of that new flick, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, right into the game. No kidding.
And yeah, I’m aware, the last Marvel thing was back in September, so fans are probably itching for this. Anyway, this kicks off on July 13, which is a Sunday, right? I think so. Could be wrong. Time is a flat circle, as someone once said.
Oh, oh! And get this, they’ve turned on the Marvel portal again. Like, I didn’t even know we had a portal – but it’s there. Now these Fantastic Four peeps, also known as Marvel’s First Family, are jumping into Monopoly Go. Who sees this stuff coming?
There’s like a whole Wonderland of new game-y stuff because of this. Think new mini-games, challenges, and I have no idea what else. Let me try to break it down without getting all tangled up.
So, there’s this event? Fantastic Racers. Imagine Tycoon Racers but adrenaline-pumped with retro Fantasti-Cars. Herbie’s also screeching from the sidelines, and there’s this Dr. Doom ‘Overload!’ disruptor thing. Sounds wild, right?
And don’t forget the Fantastic Partners Event. It’s all about teaming up to snag these things called Fantasticoins. Can you picture getting Mister Fantastic or Invisible Woman to say “Hey” to your Monopoly board? Just a thought.
Oh, there’s some treasure hunt vibe in Reed’s lab – Marvel artifacts like the Ultimate Nullifier and Silver Surfer’s board. If you find those, you might just feel like a superhero yourself.
They’ve got this thing called Deluxe Drop, bringing fancy cosmetics with them. Imagine decking out your Monopoly spaces with Fantastic Four bling. Eye-catching, at least.
And hey, there’s more loot to snag at Coveted Collectibles with themed tokens and emojis too, if that’s your thing.
Now, if you’re checking your calendar and it’s still pre-July 13, there’s still time to wrap up this Aqua Partners gig happening now. That’s going on until this Fantastic Four craziness starts.
Speaking of tips, if you’re a bit rusty in Monopoly Go land, maybe take a peek at some Monopoly Go Dice Links guide. Might give you a leg up or something.
And yeah, that’s pretty much it – or maybe not. Who knows.
