Review: Cozy Stitch Puzzle for Nintendo Switch

It’s one of those laid-back games, you know, like when you just wanna chill and stare at something colorful and not think too much. First off, there are like nine different categories — Home Huggers, Barnyard Buddies, etc. Pretty cute names if you ask me. Why they decided on those? No clue. But they stuck in my brain anyway. You’re looking at a total of 126 puzzles. Each category rocks 14 puzzles, so if one’s not your vibe, there are plenty others to pick from. Now, about those difficulties: Cozy (makes you think of a nice blanket), Medium (eh, middle ground), and then Hard (for when you’re feeling brave-ish). The Cozy one is, like, 3-5 pieces, but Hard is 20-26 — which doesn’t sound hard until you’re actually doing it. Did I mention the puzzles can change every time you play? Keeps you on your toes if that’s your thing.

Here’s a little sidetrack: the game runs on Nintendo Switch. You can go all touchy-feely on the touchscreen if you’re into that. Or, if you’re old school like me, grab those Joy-Con things. Rotate pieces with ZL and ZR buttons — fancy stuff, I know. Moving pieces around with the analog stick has this oddly satisfying vibe, like when you just click with someone and don’t know why.
