Whoa, so here we are—Sumo Group’s big wigs are shaking things up after, what, 22 years? That’s like two decades of your life building something! Imagine that.
Anyway, I’m just kinda sitting here thinking about how these folks—CEO Carl Cavers, COO Paul Porter, and this guy Darren Mills, who’s all about excellence and integration or something—are calling it quits. Just like that. Well, kind of. They’ve probably had, like, a million meetings about it. Can you imagine the coffee consumption?
So yeah, this Andy Stewart—he’s the CFO, right?—and some dude named Gary Dunn, who just got bumped up to COO (congrats, I guess?), are gonna buddy up to fill in the CEO shoes. Hope they’ve got some big feet.
And then there’s Tim Repa-Davies. Wonder if he goes by Timmy with friends. Probably not. This lawyer-type guy, he’s climbing up to the board. Like, you know, those old-timey paintings of ships being pulled up river? Kind of like that, maybe.
Cavers had something to say—He’s like, “Hey, stepping away ain’t easy, but we gotta do what we gotta do.” They’re super proud and all, which makes sense. Twenty-two years isn’t a sneeze or anything.
Stewart throws in his two cents, too: “Time to evolve, folks.” What a word—evolution. Makes you think of dinosaurs or whatever. Anyway, he’s pumped for what’s coming. More power to him.
Okay, wasn’t I supposed to wrap this up? But, yeah, new chapter for them, I guess. Onward and upward, Sumo!
