Someone said, and I laughed, “What if Star Wars and KPop Demon Hunters decided to mashup?” Ha! I’d probably have just shrugged and gone on with my day. Seriously though, how do Cal Kestis, Bode Akuna, and Merrin manage to collide with Rumi, Zoey, and Mira from HUNTR/X in a way that makes any sense? I’ve got no clue, but it’s a ride worth taking.
Turns out, they all dig looking sharp while kicking butt. Who knew?
I stumbled upon this video by AnimatedJen—pure gold for starting the day with a bang. And, no, that’s not just caffeine talking. Trust me, it’s worth your time.
Picture this: you’ve got “How It’s Done” vibing in the background while Cal Kestis and the gang take on the Empire’s finest. They’re not cartwheeling out of airplanes or anything, but the moves—it’s like some dance of destruction. Incredible stuff.
“You want some more?” Bode throws out. Honestly, that gets me every time. Cut to Cal booting a shoretrooper like it’s just another Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bode’s flying in with that punch—epic! And there goes Merrin spinning her staff like there’s no tomorrow. Honestly, by now, my hype levels are soaring and there’s still a minute to go.
AnimatedJen’s channel? Love it, been around a bit there. The passion put into Cal Kestis’s tales—especially that what-if scenario of him turning Inquisitor, count me in! We’ve got fans pushing for the live-action treatment of these characters. Crossed fingers and all that.
Then there’s the whole Star Wars magic—fans reinventing and twisting the narrative like it’s the most natural thing ever. So, Cal, Merrin, and Bode using K-Pop to level up against stormtroopers? Why not? I’m dubbing the team MANT/S—stumbling a bit, thinking Cere Junda should manage them. Somebody, AO3, where you at? And to any modder folks, we need these outfits stat. Much appreciated!
Gotta say, if you need me, I’ll be diving back into Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s about to get loud around here with “Takedown” on repeat while taking down the Empire’s worst. Done and done.
