Man, okay, so let’s dive into this. Totally random thought—I love Pokémon. Seriously, who doesn’t? Anyway, some news landed from The Pokémon Company. Big stuff: there’s this thing, “Wisdom of Sea and Sky,” set to hit Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket soon. Yep, next week actually.
Circle July 30, 2025, on your calendar or jot it down on some scrap paper, whatever works. Why? Well, they’re bringing back some epic Pokémon from the Johto region. Remember playing Pokémon Gold or Silver? Those were the days, right? You’ll bump into Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. And, oh man, the legendary ones—Lugia and Ho-Oh! Legendary, literally.
Here’s the kicker though: introducing Pokémon that need zero energy for their attacks. What!? That’s gonna shake up some strategies. I mean, picture building your deck and suddenly BAM! Free-attacking Pokémon. Mind blown? Or maybe you’re skeptical. I dunno.
Also, right, there’s this update for the Trade feature. So, picture this: a Wishlist feature. Now you can highlight cards you’re dying to trade for. Twenty cards max, plus three special ones to spotlight on your profile. Neat, right?
But, of course, they’re ditching trade tokens. Yeah, you won’t need ’em to get currency for trading anymore. Well, except for those rare cards—like the shiny ones or whatever. You need shinedust for those. I guess you earn shinedust by doing missions or grabbing duplicates. Oh, and a heads-up: trade tokens expire soon—get shinedust or pack hourglasses instead before it’s too late!
By the way, in case you’re living under a rock, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is totally downloadable on iOS and Android. Just saying.
So, there it is. Don’t miss it or do, whatever. But if you love Pokémon, you might just wanna check it out.
