ASUS just rolled out these all-white RTX 5070 series graphics cards — and I gotta say, at first glance, they’re pretty slick. We’re talking the PRIME RTX 5070 and the TUF RTX 5070 Ti, in this chic white edition. You know, I’ve always thought they looked cool in black, but white? That’s a twist. I mean, ASUS was slow on the uptake here. Why no white RTX 50 series GPUs before? Who knows. Anyway, they’re here now, finally catering to folks who dig the snowy aesthetic.
So, first up. TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB GDDR7 White OC Edition. Triple fans, all decked out in white snowstorm fashion. Even the backplate’s white. And then there’s some LED bling on the edge to jazz things up a bit. Make it shine, right? Oh, one detail you might care about (or not, depending on how often you lug this thing around) — it’s a 3.125 slot beast at 329 x 140 x 62.5 mm. Chunky. Definitely heavier than the Founders Edition. It’s got military-grade parts and some protective PCB coating, so it’s not just a pretty face.
Output-wise, you get five ports to play with — 3x DP 2.1b and 2x HDMI 2.1b. It’s a bit of a show-off with its factory-overclocked setup, hitting up to 2588 MHz, and in OC mode it goes up to 2610 MHz. Compare that to the 2452 MHz on the Founders Edition, so yeah, it’s stepping things up.
Then there’s the PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 White Edition. It kinda mirrors the TUF’s looks with the all-white finish and triple-fan setup, but it won’t cost an arm and a leg. Sort of. Clock speeds? Higher than the Founders Edition but not crazy off the charts — 2557 MHz in Default and 2587 MHz in OC mode.
Size-wise? It’s a 2.5-slot card, but longer than the FE edition at 304 mm. Both cards use a single 12V-2×6 connector for juice. ASUS suggests 850W for the TUF and 750W for the PRIME. Got it? Cool. Now, where was I… oh yeah, dreaming of making an all-white setup myself, maybe? Or not. I could just be talking.
