Sure! Here you go:
So, Sony — true to their word, shockingly enough — is back to spill when we get another sneak peek at Ghost of Yotei. Last time they chatted about it? Oh, roughly a month ago. Definitely smack dab in the chaos of summer events.
They tossed us a little trailer back then. Honestly, it was more tease than anything else. And they casually, almost slyly, mentioned we’d get more in July. Well, it’s July already, isn’t it? And soon, not too much longer now, we’ll finally get some real info.
Come Thursday, July 10, we’re set for a State of Play livestream — all Ghost of Yotei, all the time. Or at least for about 20 minutes. They promise to dive into all sorts of game bits and bobs. Hosted by Sucker Punch’s own Jason Connell and Nate Fox. Side note: these guys are kind of the creative brain behind it all.
They’re set to dig into the sequel’s narrative arc, like this Atsu person and her shiny new weapons — typical hero stuff, right? Plus, there’s talk of “new ways to personalize your journey.” Whatever that means. I’m guessing it’s more than just picking your favorite hat.
The whispers of new modes got me curious. Could be an upgrade on that Legends co-op mode everyone loved in the first Ghost of Tsushima. Or, maybe they’re rehashing that Kurosawa mode gimmick. Remember that? Total throwback to old-school Samurai flicks.
Anyway, mark your calendars. The big reveal goes live at 2pm PT, 5pm ET, 10pm BST, and 11pm CEST. Catch it on PlayStation’s Twitch or YouTube, if you’re into that whole streaming thing.
And oh yeah, Ghost of Yotei hits PS5 on October 2. Save the date, folks!
