Ah, so, like, Ghosts of Tabor finally launched on PSVR 2. Can you believe it? Just today, Beyond Frames Entertainment along with Combat Waffle Studios (yep, that’s a real name) announced that they already sold a million copies. One million! That’s a lot of gamers running around in VR, right? It’s kinda like they just dug up $30 million from somewhere.
Oh, and besides PSVR 2, it’s on SteamVR and those Pico headsets. But the real deal is that it kinda dominated as one of the top sellers for Quest since last year. Guess that’s no shocker, seeing how it’s inspired by Escape from Tarkov. Remember that one? It’s got all the shooting and scavenging action your heart could want—on a massive island. PvP, PvE, you name it. Squad up or go lone wolf. Gear, attachments—there’s just a ton of stuff to scavenge. And the crafting! Almost forgot about that. Anyway…
Initially, there were a few delays (classic), but now you can play on PSVR 2. It even has cross-play, so… that’s a bonus.
Maeva Sponbergs from Beyond Frames Entertainment was saying how players on Meta Quest basically match their playtime to their headset battery life. Which is kinda funny, right? Something about some players putting in more than 100 hours. That’s dedication. Imagine playing without that battery chain on PS VR2. Freedom!
Anyway, you can grab Ghosts of Tabor for $25 over at the PlayStation Store. But wait—there are bundles, too. Like, for $38, there’s the Starter Pack with the game and a Nuclear Night Edition. Then there’s the Independence Starter Pack for 50 bucks, with the game, that same Nuclear Night thingy, all paid DLC, plus an in-game Liberty Bell arm patch. Whatever that is. Here’s a pic from Combat Waffle Studios. I don’t know. Something about the picture kinda screams chaos.
Right. That’s about it. Happy gaming, folks!
