Oh man, I’m supposed to talk about the second installment of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage from DON’T NOD. You know it’s out on PlayStation 5, right? If not, well, surprise! Time for another timeline-hopping trip. I loved the first tape. Like, seriously, couldn’t wait for this one. It’s this whole adventure split between the ’90s and the 2020s. Swann, Autumn, Nora, Kat—they’re all back, and everything picks up right after Tape 1 left us like, "Whoa, what even?" Trying not to drop spoilers here, but it’s tough!
Anyway, wait—yeah, so gameplay. You’re hopping between decades again, with Swann and her quirky camera doing the memory-capturing thing. Snap this, film that. It’s like piecing together a jigsaw of life, if life was all about getting trophies too.
Speaking of trophies, Tape 2’s here which means—yes!—it’s Platinum trophy time. If you’re a trophy hunter, you’ll be busy with those 44 Bronze, 2 Silver, and 3 Gold trophies. Seriously, there’s one for the fastest box-packer! Three minutes, tops. Ever tried? Madness.
Right, tangent. So, what was I saying? Oh yes, this second part? Intense. Even faster-paced. You’re comfy with the characters now—Swann, Autumn, you know them, right? Feels like you’re making quicker decisions, leading down different paths. And then bam, the ending hits you.
If you loved the first one, yeah, you’ll dig this. Lost Records doesn’t let up, and for $39.99, it veers into that must-play territory on PS5. Also, disclaimer: DON’T NOD sent over a copy. Cool of them, right?
Okay, so that’s it (I think). Go play it. Or don’t. But you probably should.
