So, I somehow got my hands on this Nintendo Switch game duo, Hook: Complete Edition, thanks to Ultimate Games and Rainbow Train. Seriously, you wouldn’t think puzzle games could be “cozy,” right? But here we are. They’re just that — at least to me.

Anyway, imagine spending an afternoon getting lost in Hook and Hook 2. They’re games where you… um… pull out hooks? Sounds strange, but there’s this weird satisfaction to it. It’s like peeling plastic off a new phone — oddly satisfying.

Now, Hook is kinda straightforward. You pull hooks, solve puzzles, chill a bit. Hook 2? Throws you off-course by going 3D on you. Or sort of. Plus, there are surprises — new mechanics that make you rethink everything. It’s minimalist but sneaky. Or clever. Maybe both.
