So, guess what? This week, if you’re an Xbox Insider, you might notice a little something different on your Home screen. Yeah, we’re talking about that list of games and apps you’ve been playing. Fancy, right? Anyway – wait, no – back to the point.
We’re trying something new to make your Home feel more like, well, your space. The place where your favorite games and apps hang out. Less of the stuff you don’t care about. You get the gist.
So, what’s the scoop?
There’s this cool update where the recently played list on Home gets these three nifty settings:

Hide System Apps: No idea why, but ever found system apps to be a bit of a party crasher? Like, you’re just here for the games. Now you can hide them and breathe a little easier.

Pin Favorites: Imagine having your top three fav games at your fingertips. Pin those babies right up there. They’ll hold their ground even as you try out other stuff. Handy, huh?
- Reduce Tile Count (Soon-ish!): Alright, this one’s still baking in the oven. But soon, you can slim down the number of tiles you see. Cleaner, neater. Ah, satisfaction.
Now, this isn’t for everyone just yet. Only Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha folks get to play around with these goodies first. We really wanna know what you think, though. Seriously, your thoughts might just shape how these settings look in the future.
