We don’t have a ton of details on Space Marine 3 just yet, but Saber has let us in on the fact that it’ll feature both a campaign and a multiplayer mode. In Space Marine 2, things wrapped up in a way that seemed primed for a follow-up; our hero, Titus, emerges victorious over both Chaos and Tyranids, heading off on a new and mysterious mission alongside the Ultramarines Chapter Master Marneus Calgar. Adding to his accolades, Titus also launched into a daring suicide mission against Chaos cultists as part of Amazon’s Secret Level anthology.
In the first two installments of the Space Marine series, players were initially faced with alien threats like Orks and Tyranids, only to be taken by surprise with the introduction of a Chaos Space Marine foe—specifically The Chosen of Nemeroth and the Thousand Sons—which built up to an epic showdown. It’s anyone’s guess who might stir up trouble in Space Marine 3, but the intriguing Necron technology revealed at the end of Space Marine 2 hints at their potential entry into the franchise.
