Fortnite’s Collaboration with Invincible is Logical, Yet Underscores a Missed Chance

Fortnite’s collaboration with the Invincible comic series, which also has an adaptation on Amazon Prime, continues to delight players with an exciting lineup of character skins. Gamers can now snag cosmetics inspired by Invincible, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve. It’s hardly surprising that this partnership is so popular, given Invincible’s wide appeal.

However, this collaboration highlights a noteworthy absence: The Boys. Despite being another standout comic-based show on Amazon Prime since 2019, The Boys is yet to make an appearance in Fortnite. With more characters from Invincible entering the Fortnite universe, the lack of representation from The Boys becomes increasingly noticeable.

Interestingly, both Invincible and The Boys have crossed paths in Mortal Kombat 1. In 2023, Omni-Man joined the Mortal Kombat cast, followed by The Boys’ Homelander in 2024.
