Woah, okay. So, here we are, at the tail end—I think—of Days of Play 2025, right? And now, surprise-surprise, the last PS Plus bonus game for June is hitting some places. Like magic, bam! Asia’s already partying with it since it’s June 10 there. They get to dive into Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition before everyone else. If you’re somewhere else? Patience, friends. You’ll see it pop up around noon on Tuesday. Your time zone, not theirs.
Wait, what was I saying? Oh, right.
So, like, the PS5 and PS4 versions? Yeah, they’re bundled in that whole GTA: The Trilogy thing. Vice City, San Andreas—the whole shebang. But this GTA 3 stand-alone thing, that’s fresh. First time unbundled, just chilling solo on PS Plus. Kinda exciting? Or maybe it’s just me.
Oh man, the game’s all glammed up. New lighting—because why not? Textures you can basically touch. Far-off sceneries that actually seem reachable. Controls that don’t make you feel like you’ve got no thumbs. Plenty more tweaks, I’m sure, but my brain’s stuck on lighting. It’s my thing.
So yeah, Days of Play wraps it up on June 11. But before they call it quits, PS Plus users got loaded up with all kinds of goodies. Destiny 2: The Final Shape, some treasure crab thing, Skull and Bones…and I’m forgetting a couple, but you get me, right? It was a nice haul.
And now? We wait—impatiently, I might add. Soon enough, they’ll spill the beans about the regular PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for June 2025. And not long after, we’ll see what’s leaving the shelf in July. The suspense! Almost like opening a box of chocolates in slow motion. Or maybe nothing like that. Whatever.
